Jack had made his way out of the Ravenclaw common you. The young vampire hated the brightness of the common room most times but as a student many decades ago he had been a Ravenclaw and each time he came back it was exactly the same house. Afterall he had only gotten wiser in his years but still looked sixteen years old which annoyed him sometimes. He walked off towards Hogsmeade dressed literally in all black with his hood up to protect him from the sun.He would need to hunt tonight and he couldn't do so on school grounds. It was against the rules. He would also have to get out of Hogsmeade as well but for now that didn't really matter it wasn't night time yet.
He walked into the Hogs Head and gave a nod to the keep. It was a common known fact that he could get animal blood from this place. That would quench his thirst for just a little bit though. It was how he didn't go crazy in the first place. He sat down in a back booth and waited.

Hunt? Stare at the ceiling? Read books she had read many many many ect. times? She knew she had to do SOMETHING. Sighing, she picked up a couple books, pulled a cloak around herself and headed out of the Gryffindor common room. She loved the place and spends many hours a day in there. In fact, in her 84 BORING years as a vampire and as a student multipul times at Hogwarts, she had spent most of her life in there. As she made her way down a couple stair cases, she tried to remember exactly WHY she was a vampire in the first place. She knew it had nothing to do with family... Was she hurt? Did someone save her life by doing this? Did someone get hungry and was to full to finish her so she ended up turned? She couldn't remember, it had all happened to fast, and it was hard to remember her short human life.
Walking down to Hogsmead, she kept her head down and her books to her chest inside her robes. She probably looked like an idiot considering the weather, but it didn't matter to her. She walked into Hogshead, without a reason. She had smelled something... not human and considering she didn't know any other vampires then herself, it interested her and she followed it. Looking around the place, she noticed it was suprisingly partly full though it didn't look hard to full looking at there were only a few booths. As she made her way to the back, the scent became stronger and she looked straight ahead to see a boy a couple years older then her. Or, if he was what she thought he was, he could be even older."Mind if I sit here? Every other booth is suprisingly full." She said with a small smile while standing in front of the boy's booth. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -• B E C A U S E Y O U S A Y S O •UNDER YOUR BREATH 320 WORDS | COMPLETE | TAGGED JACK AND IT'S ALSO OPEN LYRICS BY PANIC! Jack was sipping on his blood and lost in a random line of thought. He was thinking about his time as a living breathing human. Okay so it wasn't that he wasn't human anymore or that he couldn't breath there were just some things that were different. The lack of a human soul the need to drink other's blood. It was nothing not normal for the wizarding world in which he lived in. Okay so who was he kidding he was an outcast even in this society but technically he hadn't been changed into a vampire. He had been born one. His family line was tainted vampire blood in the first place. He wasn't exactly sure how vampires could have children but his parents had and the kids had stopped aging at some point in time. It was usually the time in which their vampire powers actually came into light. Still this entire family was vampires and that was how it had always been.
He opened his eyes when he smelled a rather entertaining smell. A female no doubt and one of his own kind but not of his family. Well now that as something interesting. He smiled at her as she arrived at his table. "Of course young on you may sit." She had died younger then him he could tell and but that didn't mean she was actually younger. Of course Jack had completely forgotten how old he was in the first place. After all being born and immortal creature never made you really care about your birthday past the time when you didn't age. He'd been through Voldie's rise to power the first war and now Voldie's second rise to power. He was old but he looked sixteen. He's lost count around 70 years old and was nearly around 90 to 100. He wasn't exactly sure anymore. stupid family line being stupid as it was. His older siblings were lucky but the D'earth family was large.
"How are you?"

"Thank you, I'm sorry, I think I have dursturb you of deep thought, haven't I? I'm..." She paused as she thought of what to say. "Pleasant. And how are you? I'm Karleigh, nice to meet you. Though, I'm not sure you should call me young, considering your grammer and manners your a.... 1910 child?" She whispered the last part, with a slight smirk. She couldn't help herself, she had manners and she knew that was from her human days but when she was turned she lived on the streets, not learning much so she had a polite side and a slightly sarcastic and rude side. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -• B E C A U S E Y O U S A Y S O •UNDER YOUR BREATH *** WORDS | COMPLETE | TAGGED JACK AND IT'S ALSO OPEN LYRICS BY PANIC! Jack smiled at the other as she sat down. Vampires always had the tendency to do a few things that would signify them as vampires. Of course Jack tried not to do most of them because he didn't want people to know before he actually told them his name. It was just like him and he was a calculated young man. Okay so he was old but he looked young so give him a break. The smile on his face brightened a bit. "No it is alright. I am glad you are having a pleasant day. I'm bored." Jack was known most of the time of his charm and blunt honesty and that's exactly what he just pulled off.
He listened as she spoke to him. Her name was a name he had heard before but he could not place it. It was from long ago too. He mentally shrugged that off. "You are probably right. I should not call you young. Though I would assume you are younger than I in age of appearance. Though I would be stupid to assume that you would be younger than me in how many years you have been on this earth as one of us." As to her estimation of his grammer and manners he was sure she probably hit the nail on the head. He was born a long time ago. Somewhere back in the early 1900's so she would be correct. "There abouts Karleigh. I'm Jack...Jack Dimitri D'Earth."

"I didn't know they give blood here. Hhm... Maybe I won't have to get McGonagall to keep some in the kitchens for me anymore." Putting her head rightside up again. "We're always bored. What can we do? I can't even do what I loved without getting burnt to a crisp- Or at least I think I loved.... Human memories are blurry because they are so old... And it not even just that, I guess being bitten and then left in an alley with a huge headache has affect on your memory. I don't even remember my mother's name..."
She shrugged and sighed, her smile still on her face, and it wasn't lying, she wasn't unhappy. Hey, she had just found someone that possibly understood her. "I'm 98. Older then most of our kind, we usually get killed off by the Ministry." Her smile wavvered but stayed. "Nice to meet you Jack. I suppose it would only be polite to tell you my full name, as you told me yours. I'm Karleigh Candice Jaimson." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -• B E C A U S E Y O U S A Y S O •UNDER YOUR BREATH *** WORDS | COMPLETE | TAGGED CRYSTAL AND IT'S ALSO OPEN LYRICS BY PANIC! Jack looked at Karleigh for a moment. "You never know what places might just serve blood. Though its not human blood. Just some animal blood to tide over." If animal blood could completely sustain him for the rest of his life he would drink it. Alas that was not the case after weeks of animal blood one had to go out on a hunt for some real human blood. He didn't much like killing. He'd never liked watching his parents take his brothers out on hunts. He really even didn't like the idea of a blood donor. He was a vampire however and he had gotten used to what he had to do to survive whether he liked it or not. He was on of those odd children that no one really understood half the time. He was protective of his family and he wasn't the youngest by any means. He's was somewhere in the middle probably. He'd lost count of ages and such like that. When you were born to vampire parents you never really could rightly remember anything save for what you learned.
"I asked Professor Flitwick to keep an emergency supply of human blood in his stuff just in case. Though by now the teachers at the school are rather used to seeing me ever so often. They teach me new things while I pretend that I'm sixteen." He gave a small chuckle but it fadded as quickly as it had come. "I don't really have human memories. I was born to vampire parents. Then again I don't remember what lead up to my change actually. All my siblings changed and gained their vampire powers at a certain age and we don't age from there." His family was somewhat complicated to explain really. Werewolves had it easier with that. It made more sense for werewolves to have childrend then Vampires but it was possible he was product of it.
"I'm sorry you had that bad a time with the change though. My boredom only happens when nothing interesting is going on. One of those been there done that type of things. Honestly it gets a little dull to see the same things over and over and over again." He let out a sigh as he took another drink of his blood. One could tell that it would be a good idea for him to go on a hunt by the way his eyes looked. Little flecks of red were beginning to show.
"Too tell you the truth Karleigh I don't even remember how old I am. My change happened at 16 and after a few years I just lost count. Though my family is one of the oldest clans around minus the Draconian family but still. Though I'm somewhere around your age and probably just by a few years in the land of being older." He let out another chuckle. Age really didn't matter to him. He cocked his head to his side when she said that she should tell him her full name. "That's a pretty name but I say mine the way I do because it was how I was taught long ago."
